If you are ever concerned about the figure or performance of your Galaxy Optics product, simply give us a call and we will work with you to solve the problem. Optical coatings are warranted 90 days or more depending on the nature of the problem. Galaxy Optics does not warranty against coating damage caused by moisture, acid dew or rain, chemical exposure, neglect or improper cleaning methods. The surface of each mirror is examined under several precise optical tests for narrow zones, smoothness, astigmatism and overall wavefront accuracy. Detected surface errors will be corrected. The result is a smooth paraboloidal optic of outstanding quality. The Strehl Ratio determined via interferometric fringe analysis is guaranteed to be greater than 0.85. All optics manufactured by Galaxy Optics are guaranteed to be "Diffraction Limited" and tested via "Laser Interferometry". Errors are measured at 632 nm over a clear aperture greater than 98%.
